BMC Software Appoints New Country Leader for India

Sakaar Anand named Human Resources and Country Leader as Shashank Bhushan takes new global executive role in the company’s journey to becoming an Autonomous Digital Enterprise

PUNE, INDIA – December 14, 2020 - BMC, a global leader celebrating 40 years of delivering software solutions for the Autonomous Digital Enterprise, today announced the appointment of Sakaar Anand as BMC’s India Country Leader and India Human Resources Lead.  Shashank Bhushan, who previously held the position, is tasked with a new role leading Global Talent Management and Employee Development for BMC in Houston, Texas.

Anand brings global experience as a leader in HR, product, IT operations, and global delivery center teams across several industries. He most recently led HR for the Bank of New York Mellon Technology in India and held previous leadership roles at CA Technologies and General Electric. He will be responsible for BMC India’s continued success across all company functions and assume HR leadership for the country.

Bhushan is a ten-year veteran of BMC and has served in various leadership roles. In his new role, he will lead the Global Talent Management and Employee Development team to focus on the critical architecture that helps employees gain the skills needed to deliver on BMC’s long-term strategy and enable the Autonomous Digital Enterprise journey for customers.
